Be thankful to God, Popular Bishop tells Nigerians.

~~~~ As the church celebrates end of the year thanksgiving.
The General Overseer of the Covenant faith proof ministry (Aka City of truth) Yenagoa Bayelsa state. Bishop Mike Okporkpor has urged Nigerians to imbibe the habit of appreciation to God in the face of challenges, stressing that God in His inordinate mercy has given lives in abundance .
Speaking on a theme: “The month of Exceeding Glory”. with Text in 2 Corinthians 3:9-10, 5:21; Isaiah 60:2,3; Zechariah 11:3 (KJV) .
Bishop Mike Okporkpor said that the greatest person in the bible and the world is that man that shows gratitude to God, in other words a man that gives or appreciate God habitually.
“Indeed, if there is a time that we need to give thanks, it is now. The Bible declares that those who know their God will be strong and they will do exploits. We only need to reflect the lives and how God has been consistent in providing and keeping us, especially, the recent devastating flood in Nigeria” The same God who delivered us from COVID-19 surely will also deliver us from effects of flood.
The Bishop Mike encouraged Nigerians to always, dance, worship and sing praises to God and avoid unnecessary complaints as they are not better than those in the hospitals, mortuaries , and in the grave.
The church Thanksgiving which was well attended by pastors, Bishops from other churches,worshipers, friends of the church, featured, children presentation, quiz, music, comedy’s and drama from the church.
