Buhari appoints Adeyeye as NAFDAC Director-General for a second term.

Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye has been reappointed for a second five-year term as Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement, the Director (Public Affairs) NAFDAC, Dr. Abubakar Jimoh, stated that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, conveyed the President’s approval to Adeyeye, whose tenure renewal took effect on December 1, 2022.
Abubakar stated that Adeyeye’s reappointment followed closely on the heels of her track record of achievements and successes over the last five years, particularly the achievement of World Health Organization (WHO) Maturity Level 3.
