EPL: He has to make adjustments – Ten Hag rates Weghorst’s Manchester United debut

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag believes the club’s new signing, Wout Weghorst, did ‘quite well’ on his Red Devils debut against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Ten Hag also said that Weghorst, who started Man United’s 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, has to make adjustments to his game.
Weghorst was not a big part of the game really, producing a largely forgettable first performance in a Man United shirt, although he did attract the attention of the Crystal Palace defenders in the build-up for his team’s goal, allowing Bruno Fernandes space to finish.
Recall that two goals from Fernandes and Michael Olise ensured both teams drew at Selhurst Park Stadium.
“I think he did quite well,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports of the Dutchman.
“He has to make adjustments to our game.
“He doesn’t know our way of play. He only had a short briefing and last training, no games, a couple of days,” he added
