U-20 AFCON: Match winner, Agbalaka hails Flying Eagles victory against Egypt

Flying Eagles defender, Solomon Agbalaka has reflected on the team’s hard-fought win against Egypt on Wednesday night.
Ladan Bosso’s side got their campaign at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations back on track after a stunning victory against the hosts.
The Left-back netted the winning goal with a thumping header 11 minutes from time.
The Flying Eagles had goalkeeper Chijoke Anigboso, who made three vital saves in the game to thank for their victory.
Agbalaka, who was named Man of the Match after the game, stated that his team deserved to beat the Young Pharaohs who wasted a number of good chances in the contest.
“We deserved to win,” Agbalaka told journalists after the game
“We worked very hard, so I would like to thank my coach and all my colleagues for their efforts,” he said.
Next in the line for the Flying Eagles is the final group game against Mozambique on Saturday
