Kaduna residents ready for polls, obey movement restriction
Restriction of movement commenced early morning of Saturday as voters prepare to cast their votes in Kaduna State.
All roads within Kaduna metropolis were deserted. Only security vehicles and those on essential duties were seen moving from one point to the other.
The popular Ahmadu Bello way and several other locations were deserted.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officials, presiding officers and poling unit clerks are awaiting distribution of electorial materials, Track News reports.
Several voters were seen preparing to move to their poling units by 8.00 am to cast their votes.
A voter, Dr. Samuel Moses told Track News that he was ready to cast his votes.
