Soso Soberekon Threatens to Sue Inec for Their Incompetence
Soso Soberekon, an entertainment executive, has threatened to sue the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), over their incompetence.
Many citizens were disenfranchised today and were unable to vote. Soberekon, who is unpleased with the situation revealed that INEC officials reported late to their polling units and were disorganized in the conduct of election.
His words,
“I am taking INEC to Court.
A lot of Nigerians are not able to vote due to late arrivals and disorganized arrangements by @inecnigeria and it’s officials”.
Reall that veteran actress, Kate Henshaw, had called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for disenfranchising her and twenty other voters in her polling unit.
Taking to microblogging platform, the actress lamented that she has not been able to cast her vote because the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) card reader claimed she is not registered.
According to her, her name appeared on list pasted on the wall and on INEC register however, she can’t vote.
She thus called on international media houses including Cable Network News (CNN), and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) to take notice.
