“Atiku Can Continue Lamenting, But I urge Peter Obi to Reach Out to Tinubu” -Kassim Afegbua Says

A notable Nigerian politician and former commissioner, Kassim Afegbua, has urged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to extend a hand of fellowship to Tinubu. During an interview on TV, Kassim expressed his concern regarding Peter Obi’s claim that he won the election while still claiming that the electoral process was flawed.

During an interview on TV, Kassim expressed his concern regarding Peter Obi’s claim that he won the election while still claiming that the electoral process was flawed.

Addressing the topic, Kassim said, “I am concerned about the low voter turnout despite all we witnessed during the campaign rallies ahead of the elections.” INEC and political parties still have a lot to do regarding educating Nigerians about the consequences of not voting.

He added, “I urge Peter Obi to extend a hand of fellowship to Tinubu and play the role of a sportsman by accepting the outcome of the election, even though he has the right to take the matter to court. The PDP’s Atiku can continue lamenting for all I care. I have a problem with Peter Obi’s claim that the election was flawed while still claiming that he won the same election. It seems contradictory. It would have been more meaningful to me if Obi had called for a total cancellation of the election.
