Bello also called on the Governor-elect to extend hands of fellowship to those that contested with him and ensure that he operates an open-door policy, since he was elected to serve everyone.

“I want to urge you to quickly extend an olive branch to all your contenders because you have been elected to serve the entire people of Niger State regardless of their religion, tribe, social status or even political parties,” he stated.

He further expressed optimism that Bago would engender development in the state, while calling on those who lost in the elections to accept the outcome in good fate, and support the incoming administration.
