BAYELSA 2023: SDP Clears Barr Binalayefa Joshua Osuluku Esq. and Ebinabo Rebecca Doibo For Bayelsa Governorship Election.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Screening Committee for Bayelsa State on Friday 24th March 2023 screened and cleared Barr Binalayefa Joshua Osuluku Esq. and Ebinabo Rebecca Doibo for the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the state.
The screening exercise took place at the SDP headquarters in Abuja.
Barr Binalayefa Joshua Osuluku Esq. and Mrs. Ebinabo Rebecca Doibo, were the only aspirants from the party that picked the SDP nomination form for 18.5 million and expression of interest form for 1.5 million, a total of 20 million each for the November poll.
They were screened and cleared by the SDP National Publicity secretary, Amb. Rufus Aiyenigba who double as the Chairman of the Screening committee and the SDP National Youth leader Hon. Ogbonna Uchechukwu who double as the Committee Secretary.
Chairman of the Screening committee and National Publicity secretary, Amb. Rufus Aiyenigba, said the panel screened the aspirants in line with the guidelines of the party and as stipulated in the Electoral Act.
Therefore having met all the conditions in line with the process, they have been cleared by the committee and has been given their Provisional certificate to contest in the forthcoming election in Bayelsa state.
