They Are Already Telling Our People In The North That Peter Obi Said It’s A Religious War -Dr Tanko Yunusa
Controversies has been trailing the alleged audio conversations between the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.
It would be recalled that the former Anambra state governor was heart saying that the election is a religious war.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Arise , the spokesperson of the Labour Party, Dr Yunusa Tanko has maintained that the audio is Fake.
According to him, it was the work of the ruling party in order to demarket Obi.
Tanko said they have already paying some people to tell the northerners that Obi has said that it is a religious war.
Hear him “We need to find out the perpetrators of this audio and where it came from, what is the source, and how did it emanated and that is where you need to help us as pressmen. There is something they call investigative journalism. Before you comment on anything, you have to find out where is the source. There must be somebody to claim the ownership. If we don’t arrest this situation, they will cook up another audio that the president said he is not interested to rule the country again. It is very possible. They already orchestrated the same plan to tell our brothers and sisters in the North that Peter Obi has said it is a religious war and they are going to say it in most of the mosques. Some of them are already paid to do this. And I said to my brothers in the North.”
