PTA condemns kidnapping of Kaduna students
The National President, Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Haruna Danjuma, has called on the Federal and the Kaduna State governments to ensure the kidnapped students of a secondary school in Kaduna are rescued from their abductors.
He condemned in totality the continued kidnapping of students in parts of the country, calling on the government and security agencies to redouble their efforts towards rescuing such students.
Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, the National President of PTA said, “The federal and Kaduna state governments must evolve means towards ensuring quick rescue of the students. They must not be allowed to suffer in the hands of their abductors.”
Danjuma appealed to all educational and security experts to support government with advices on ways to protect schools against the activities of criminal elements and boost quality of education to move the country forward.
He expressed worries over the harmful effect of banditry, kidnapping for ransom that is affecting tertiary institutions, primary and secondary schools in the northern part of Nigeria
