Gunmen kidnap businessman, kill one, injure another in Kano

A popular businessman in Gangarbi village, Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Nasiru Na’ayya, was abducted by gunmen in the early hours of Monday.
A source told Track news that the abductors invaded the residence of the victim at about midnight on Monday.
According to him, on arrival at the residence of the businessman, the gunmen started shooting sporadically to scare people away.
He further explained, “When the residents of the area attempted to prevent the gunmen from going with the victim, they shot two people, leading to the death of one instantly and another was injured and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.”
SP Abdullahi Haruna, the spokesman for the Kano State Police Command confirmed the incident, saying that he was waiting for the Divisional Police Officer from the area to give him details of what happened.
