Lagos Man Arrested For Stabbing 33-year-old To Death Over Parking Space

According to Vanguard,security officers of the Lagos State Police Cmmand have apprehended and taken a man named Tolulope Olowu into custody after being found responsible of ending the life of a man named Pablo, who was 33 years of age before he died, over a dispute regarding parking space on their street.

Following the information obtained by news reporters,the Superintendent of Police,SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s correspondent, who verified the sad event to members of the press on Sunday,23rd April 2023, explained that the tragedy actually took place on Saturday,22nd April 2023 at approximately 10:00 p.m at First Unity Estate, which is located in the Badore region of Ajah.

They had a misunderstanding over parking of vehicle on the street.In the process, Tolulope allegedly stabbed Pablo with a knife in the stomach and he died on the spot.Based on the report, teams of detectives from the division visited and photographed the scene.The corpse has been evacuated and deposited at IDH Morgue, Yaba for autopsy”, he mentioned.

When contacted about the incident,an eyewitness disclosed that,it all started when both of them were yelling at each other over parking space in the street,which sparked up a physical altercation,thus,one of them fell to the ground while yelling in pain and losing a lot of blood.

We were surprised to find out that someone had being stabbed amongst the duo.At this point the accused was caught before he could run away and a distress call was forwarded to the appropriate security authorities”.

“Residents of the region were so tempted to lynch the suspect,but they called themselves together and handed him over to the police so that appropriate findings can be carried out and most importantly,the proper justice for his crime”,the eyewitness disclosed.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Hundeyin affirmed that, the offender was detained with the knife he used in killing the deceased, commending the people for not taking the law into their own hands while assuring that the law will take its full course on the case as soon as investigation is concluded
