Terrorists attack Plateau varsity

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have attacked the Plateau State University (PLASU) to abduct students.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr John Agams, who confirmed the incident to TRACKNEWS , said the terrorists invaded the school on Tuesday night.
According to him, the security operatives of the institution were able to repel the gunmen who invaded the female hostel.
Agams, who further revealed that no student was abducted, lamented that one student was injured during the unfortunate incident.
”Gunmen attempted to kidnap some of our students, but the attempt was repelled by our local security men.
”In the process, one student was injured, but no student was abducted.
”The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Benard Matur, is currently at the school premises and appealing to students to be peaceful,” he said
