UCL: Man Utd legend, Evra reveals why he clashed with Guardiola’s assistant

Manchester United legend, Patrice Evra has explained why he clashed with a member of Manchester City’s backroom team after Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.
Manchester City made it to the Champions League final by beating Real Madrid 4-0 at the Etihad after the reverse fixture had ended 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Evra became embroiled in a touchline spat with Pep Guardiola’s assistant, Manel Estiarte following City’s outstanding victory.
Speaking to CBS Sports about the fight, the former France international said, “He was looking at me saying ‘this is for you, this is for you’. I came close and said why are you shouting, why are you so agitated?
“He said it was because last year I said on TV they **** themselves and that’s why they lost against Madrid. And I said this year they didn’t **** themselves and that’s the truth.
“I’m an honest man and I’m straight and afterwards he apologised.”
