JUST IN: Unknown Kill RCCG Pastor, Kidnapped Seven in Late-Night Attack in Ogun

Suspected kidnappers on Saturday evening launched a deadly attack during a vigil at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Ogun State.
TRACKNEWS reports that the incident took place at Abule-Ori in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, leaving a pastor dead and seven church members abducted.
According to Soji Ganzallo, the State Commander of the So-Safe Corps, the gunmen stormed the church premises around midnight while the vigil was in progress.
It is learnt that swift action was taken by officers of the So-Safe Corps upon receiving a distress call, resulting in the successful rescue of the abducted individuals who were found unharmed.
During the rescue operation, one of the kidnappers was fatally shot, while several others sustained serious injuries in the ensuing exchange of gunfire.
Ganzallo expressed gratitude for the joint efforts of the police and the So-Safe Corps, who are now intensifying their pursuit of the remaining fleeing suspects with the aim of capturing them alive.
