The campaign office of the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Kogi State, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has been attacked by suspected hoodlums.

The hoodlums stormed the party’s campaign secretariat, set aflame a billboard bearing the picture of President Tinubu and Murtala Ajaka, and smashed the office’s glass windows.

TRACKNEWS gathered that a group of individuals reportedly invaded the campaign office, located along Paparanda Kpata market, and instructed guards to remove the picture of President Bola Tinubu since he is not a member of the party.

Ajaka previously donated the office as the presidential campaign secretariat for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the 2023 election.

The building was later converted into the SDP governorship campaign office when the gubernatorial race began.
