BREAKING: Cross River Permanent Secretary, Family Escape Death as fire engulf building
The Cross River Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youths and Skills Acquisition, Comrade Samuel Egbala, and his family escaped death this morning when fire broke out at their residence in People’s Club, Calabar.
TrackNews Media reports that the fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical malfunction, razed part of the main building, destroying valuable property.
Egbala, who spoke to Weekend Chronicle, said he was grateful that no one was injured in the fire. He attributed the cause of the fire to an electrical malfunction.
Well-wishers have continued to sympathise with the Perm Sec and his family.
