Four Apprehended for stealing Disco’s cables in Edo

Four suspects identified as Monday Iriah, James Akagbe, Jesubu Ogbesia and Mustapha Suleman, have been arrested by the Edo state police command for stealing armoured cable in Ujagbolo community in Esan Central LGA of the state.

They were arrested after the DPO of Irua received information that hoodlums vandalised Benin Electricity Distribution Companys (BEDCs) transformer in Ujagbolo and stole its armoured cable.

Edo Police Commands spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said they will be arraigned in court after investigation has been concluded.
