UPDATE: NSCDC Arrests Five, Seizes 5,500 Litres Of Diesel

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have arrested five suspects, seizing 5,500 litres of Automotive Gas Oil, popularly known as diesel.

The operation was carried out by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.

Photos from the exercise were shared on the official Facebook page of the NSCDC on Saturday.

The photos were captioned, “The Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG SIS) arrested five suspects, impounded four saloon cars and confiscated about 5,500 litres of suspected illegally refined AGO being transported to Onitsha from Obah Agwa autonomous community Oguta Ohaji LGA of Imo State.”
