Bandits kill principal while resisting abduction – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, on Saturday revealed the killing of a secondary school principal by bandits in Kaduna State.
The outspoken ex–lawmaker, in a post on his verified X (Twitter) handle, said Idris Abu Sufyan, who was the Principal of Government Secondary School, Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area, was killed while attempting to resist abduction.

“Mallam Idris Abu Sufyan,Principal GSS Kuriga,Chikun Lg Kaduna State was killed by Bandits when he tried to resist abduction.They succeeded in kidnapping two women in the process.May his soul rest in peace.Ameen,” Sani said.
Effort by TrackNews to get details of the incident from relevant security agencies is yet to yield the desired results.
Recall that incidents of kidnapping for ransom by bandits and other criminal elements have witnessed a surge in recent times particularly in Abuja, Kaduna and other neighbouring states.
