Kebbi State Government Sacks 3 District Heads
The Kebbi State government has dismissed three district heads over gross misconduct, insubordination, abscondment, fraud, and partisanship.
The announcement was made by the Local Government Service Commission Chairman, Alhaji Mansur Shehu, who addressed the media on Thursday.
Shehu said the dismissals were taken in accordance with Public Service Rules (PSR). He added that thorough investigations and consultations had preceded the decision.

The rules broken are Public Service Rule (PSR) 030302, which amounts to gross misconduct, PSR 030301, movement without permission and PSR 030302 & 030407, dismissal.
The deposed district heads include Alhaji Lawal Yakubu, Mai Arewan Yeldu in Arewa Local Government Area; Malam Ahmed Sani, Sarkin Gabas Geza in Dandi LGA and Alhaji Tukur Aliyu, Jagwadejin Bakuwe from Suru LGA, all in Gwandu Emirate.
