GOV. FUBARA TO IMPROVE CAPACITY OF RIVERS WORKFORCE

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has assured of improving the capacity of the state workforce.
This was disclosed to newsmen shortly after a closed door meeting with the governor at Government House on Thursday by the National President of the Nigeria Institute of Management, Dr. Mrs. Christiana Atako.
Dr. Atako who led other members of the Institute to the meeting noted that they were excited by the impeccable leadership style of the governor and for his commitment to motivating the state’s workforce.
She said that the governor showed enthusiasm in building the capacity of the workforce and they promised to partner with him to accomplish the goal as such effort will create a successful management system.

“One of our strengths is to develop the capacity of the workforce and we told the governor that we are interested in the civil service of the state. We believe that if you have the right workforce, you will be able to have a successful system and leadership will be easy.
Dr. Atako further emphasised that part of their visit is to also inform the governor of the forthcoming National Conference of the Institute that will hold in Port Harcourt sometime in the year.
She reiterated that the Institute is impressed with the accomplishments of Governor Fubara on infrastructure and human welfare since he assumed office and commended his peaceful disposition.
