JUST IN: Chairman Abia NIPR declared missing
The chairman of the Abia state chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Deacon Felix Olunwa, has been reported missing by his family.
According to reports, the incident occurred over the weekend.
Olunwa was allegedly abducted by unidentified individuals on the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.
He had travelled to Aba to repair his uncle’s Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) at the well-known Alaoji motor spare parts market, after failing to fix it in Umuahia, the state capital.
He was last seen leaving the Alaoji motor part area on the Ugwunagbo axis of the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.
Sources indicate that his wife, Dr. Mrs. Olunwa, mentioned that her husband departed from the location around 7 pm and that she spoke with him at about 8 PM while he was still driving home along the Aba-Port Harcourt expressway.
