Rep. Mitema Obordor Congratulates Governor Douye Diri, PDP, Says, it’s a Victory for the Peace and Prosperity of Bayelsa
The Member Representing Ogbia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Mitema Obordor has congratulated H.E Sen. Douye Diri for his Victory at the Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Election Petition Tribunal.
Chief Mitema who was the Director General of the People’s Democratic Party Campaign Council that ushered in Sen. Diri’s Second Term Election victory said the court’s verdict has further legitimised Governor Douye Diri’s landslide win at the last Governorship poll.

In a statement by his Media office, Obordor described the verdict as a victory for Democracy and Bayelsans who overwhelmingly voted for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The Parliamentarian noted that the country’s electorial process is making steady progress and deserves the appreciation and support of all.
On his part, Obordor promised to continue to use the instrumentality of the legislature to make positive impact on the Nation and his Constituents as he has always done in time past.
