Bayelsa State Government Throws Weight Behind Odi Ogori Ba Uge International Festival.
A delegation from the Odi Ogori Ba Uge International Annual Festival Committee paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government to seek support for the upcoming festival slated for July 27th to August 3rd, 2024.
Led by the Chairman, Dr. Ebi Udisi, the delegation requested the Secretary’s presence as a special guest at the festival, which aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the state and promote tourism.
The Secretary to the State Government Professor Nimibofa Ayawei ,assured the delegation of his support and readiness to promote the festival, highlighting Bayelsa’s vast potential as a hub for tourism. He expressed his commitment to ensuring the success of the event, which will showcase the state’s diverse cultural heritage to a global audience.
