National Assembly proposes death penalty for vandals
A new bill proposing death penalty for vandals of national assets across the country will soon be presented on the floor of the Nigerian Senate.
Senator Adamu Aliero, a former FCT minister and a current senator from Kebbi State, disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Abuja on Monday.

The former Kebbi State governor said lawmakers were concerned about the continued vandalisation of national assets such as power installations, daily tracks, airport facilities among others and are looking at a bill that will stipulate death penalty for any type of vandalism.
