August 1 Protest: Federal Government Begs Nigerians Again: We’ve Started Attending to Your Demands
The Federal Government has announced that the planned nationwide hunger protests, scheduled for August 1-10, 2024, are no longer necessary.
The minister assured that President Bola Tinubu will address concerns raised by the youth, including education and transportation issues. He mentioned the student loan program, which ensures that no young person will be excluded from pursuing education. Additionally, the CNG initiative, once fully implemented, will resolve transportation issues.
Idris emphasized that the government is working assiduously to address the concerns of Nigerians, making strides to ensure food availability and affordability. He urged citizens to remain patient and assured that the government’s efforts will yield positive results.
