National Chairman PAP Phase 2, Ibena Rufus Salvation, Defends Mathew Dango SA Youth NDDC
The National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Program Phase 2 Leaders Forum, Ibena Rufus Salvation, has condemned recent calls for the removal of Mathew Dango, the Special Adviser on Youth to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
In a statement released today, Ibena urged all Niger Delta youth groups to remain calm and exercise patience. He acknowledged the grievances expressed by some factions but emphasized that Mathew Dango is diligently performing his duties in accordance with the directives of his superior, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the NDDC.
Ibena further noted that the Special Adviser lacks the authority to make approvals or executive decisions, clarifying that Dango’s role is strictly confined to following the orders given by his boss. He commended Dango for his efforts and assured the public that Dango is doing his best in his capacity to support the NDDC’s mission.
The National Chairman called for unity and understanding, stressing that leadership in the Niger Delta requires cooperation and patience for the greater good of the region.
