PDP STATE CONGRESS: Cocodia Congratulates New Executive
High Chief Collins Cocodia, the immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, has congratulated the new executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State on their emergence.
At the elective congress held on Saturday August 31st saw Hon. Solomon Agwana returned as Chairman, Hon Gesiye Isowo returned as Secretary, while several other officers were also returned.
A statement by the one time Youth Development Commissioner praised their dedication and hard work, expressing confidence in their ability to lead the party to victory in future elections.
Cocodia also thanked the delegates, observers and other faithfuls of the Peoples Democratic Party, for their peaceful conduct which birthed the successful Congress on Saturday.
He stressed that with the harmony and peaceful congress, the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa state inder the leadership of the Governor, Senator Douye Diri, will continue to soar higher, reaffirming that the PDP remains the largest, yet the most coordinated party within the country and beyond.
High Chief Cocodia equally eulogised the leader of the party, Governor Douye Diri, as well as his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, for their penchant for peace and unity within the party, which has continued to keep the PDP as the dominance force in the state.
