Woman arrested in Adamawa for ass@ulting her minor stepchildren for urinating and def£cating inside their room

Men of the Adamawa state police command have arrested a 37-year-old woman identified as Fatima Abubakar for allegedly t0rturing her 2-year old girl and a little boy stepchildren that were left under her custody.
Fatima, who hails from Sanda, Makama B ward in Yola South LGA, allegedly tortured the minors to urinating as well as defecating in their room. Fatima who is said to be married to their father and is yet to welcome a child for him, physically assaulted them and has since confessed to the crime upon her arrest on Saturday, October 5.
Neighbours had reported that the woman was in the habit of t0rturing the kids and denying them food, saying that the woman had warned them to stop interfering in her affairs.
Confirming her arrest to newsmen, the Police command Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the culprit was arrested following a tip-off from concern community members.
SP Nguroje added that the Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankombo, had ordered that the accused be charged to court for prosecution.
