Yoruba Nation Petition: Nnamdi Kanu’s Brother Calls Out Igbo Politicians for Inaction

Kanunta, the brother of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, has criticized politicians in the Southeast after liberation warrior Sunday Igboho presented a petition for Yoruba nation to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

He claimed that Igboho approached the UK Prime Minister with the Yoruba Nation petition without posing any threat.

Kanunta bemoaned the fact that politicians in the Southeast are occupied with abducting “Biafran youths” in coordination with the Nigerian Army and the Department of State Services, or DSS, while Igboho is advocating for Yoruba Nation.

“On Sunday, Igboho submitted a petition to the UK prime minister to consider the agitation of Yoruba Nation without any threats,” he wrote in a post on X.

However, in order to demand the same, South East politicians are working with @HQNigerianArmy and @OfficialDSSNG to abduct “Biafran youths.” The hashtag #FreeMaziNnamdiKanuNow

Igboho had petitioned Starmer to take the establishment of Yoruba nation into consideration.

According to reports, Igboho filed the petition on behalf of Yoruba Nation movement leader Prof. Adebanji Akintoye.

In their agitation to establish a nation that will be primarily owned by Yorubas, the movement is requesting the UK prime minister and his administration to step in right away.
