Yenagoa Town Appreciates Sen. Konbowei Benson For Free Medical Outreach.

The Council of Chiefs, the Community Development Committee, the Youths, and women of Yenagoa Town has extended overwhelming appreciation to the senator representing Bayelsa Central, Sen Konbowei Benson for choosing Yenagoa Town and beneficiary community in his free medical outreach programme to his constituents.

The Secretary General Yenagoa Town Comr. Giani Richard on behalf of the community showered encomiums on the legislative prowess of the Korokorosei born politician whose developmental strides has impacted numerous communities in the central senatorial district.

Yenagoa Town which in the heart of the state capital however still lacks some amenities which infact is urgent as the burial of the late revered Ebeni-Eken HRH M.A Clarkson Kikile (JP) Oguo V is scheduled for November 17, 2024.

Comrade Giani Richard on behalf of Yenagoa Town further solicited the assistance of the lawmaker in the Burial of their King, with the installation of solar powered street lights in Yenagoa Town, just like Senator Konbowei Benson has replicated in other communities within the central senatorial district.

Yenagoa Town believes the solar powered street lights will greatly improve night life in the area and add colour to the burial of the late King of Yenagoa Town as the town will be lightened up at night, which will enable visitors navigate the area at night when they come for the burial.

The statement reads further: ‘On behalf of the Council of Chiefs, the Community Development Committee, the Youth, and women of Yenagoa Town, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Senator Konbowei Benson Friday, for the medical outreach he organized in Yenagoa on October 18, 2024. His dedication to the well-being of our community has significantly impacted our community, and we are truly thankful for his service.

As we prepare for the upcoming burial of our late revered Ebeni-Eken HRH M.A Clarkson Kikile (JP) Oguo V on November 17, 2024, we respectfully request solar lights for our community. These lights will enhance safety and create a welcoming ambiance for our visitors. Solar lights are eco-friendly, cost-effective, and require minimal maintenance.

Comrade Giani Richards further appealed to senator Konbowei Benson to see the supply of street lights to Yenagoa Town as a great platform for the community to pay respect to their reverred king.
