AMA-EBI CONSULTANTS LTD. Progresses With Clearing Of 25 Hectares For The Bayelsa State 25,000 Seater Ultramodern Multi-purpose Stadium Project

Ama-ebi Consultants Ltd., a leading consultancy and project management firm, is making remarkable progress in delivering its contractual obligation to clear 25 hectares of land at the Igbogene Glory Drive area.

This site is earmarked by the Bayelsa State Government for the construction of an ultra-modern 25,000-seater multi-purpose stadium—a flagship project under the administration of Governor Senator Douye Diri.

As of Monday, 27th January 2025, just eight days since the commencement of the clearing operations, Ama-ebi Consultants Ltd. has successfully cleared 16 hectares, representing 64% of the contracted land area. The company remains fully committed to completing the project within the stipulated timeline and to the highest professional standards.

Earlier today, the Honourable Commissioner for Sports Development, Honourable Champion Daniel Igali, led a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Sports to the project site for an inspection tour.

Accompanying him were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, the Director of Sports at the Bayelsa State Sports Council, senior management, and staff from various cadres within the ministry.

The team was received by the management of Ama-ebi Consultants Ltd., who provided an extensive guided tour of the project site. The visitors were shown the scale of work already accomplished, with heavy machinery and personnel on-site demonstrating the contractor’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

Speaking to the press during the visit, Honourable Champion Daniel Igali expressed his satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work being executed. He commended Ama-ebi Consultants Ltd. for its professionalism and lauded the company’s ability to meet contractual expectations. He promised Bayelsans that the stadium will be well-equipped to compete internationally.

Furthermore, he thanked Governor Douye Diri for his visionary leadership in initiating this transformational project that will significantly enhance the state’s sports infrastructure and foster talent development.
