Court exonerates Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy in Mohbad’s death probe

On Tuesday, the Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, exonerated Abdulazeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, from any involvement in the death of Aloba Oladimeji IleriOluwa, also known as Mohbad.

Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje announced the decision after reviewing the legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) of Lagos, stating that there was no case against him.

The court also dismissed charges against music promoter Samson Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, Owodunni Ibrahim, referred to as Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.

In related news, the DPP indicated plans to prosecute auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who treated Mohbad, along with one of Mohbad’s friends, Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State.
