“Breaking: Massive Explosion Hits Trans-Niger Pipeline in Rivers State”

An explosion has struck the Trans-Niger Pipeline in Bodo, located in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State. The affected section of this major pipeline is currently ablaze, although the exact cause of the explosion is still unknown.
Authorities have not yet determined whether the incident was the result of human interference, particularly in light of recent threats from militant groups to target oil installations. These threats come in response to the Federal Government’s withholding of Rivers State’s allocation due to the ongoing political crisis.
The explosion reportedly occurred on Monday night along the critical export pipeline that transports crude oil to the Bonny Terminal.
