#NigeriaDecides2019: We Are Impressed By Women Turn Out – el-Rufai’s Wife

Speaking with journalists on the voters queue at Ungwuan Sarki polling unit, Umm expressed confidence that the All Progressive Congress, APC, will win the polls.
According to her “We are impressed by the turn out voters especially women. The report we are getting so far, women are really turning out.
“I am optimistic APC will win this election. I am happy about the turn out.” Commenting on the late commencement of the election in the poll unit, Ummi said “Is not our fault that the election did not start by 8am here in this polling unit. We are hoping the time of voting will be extended so that more voters will cast their votes. We are expecting more turn out of women in this elections.”
Meanwhile, the voting is yet to commence in Kaduna in many polling units as of 9:00 am when visited as voters queuing to cast their votes.
Although, no reason was given for the late commencement of the polls as electoral officials were seen in some polling units arranging voting materials to commence.
