Jones Abiri Granted N100m Bail.
TRACKING >>A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted Bayelsa State born journalist, Jones Abiri a N100m bail.
The Federal Government has on May 24 arraigned Mr. Abiri for economic sabotage and terrorism and have held him in custody.
But Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu today said, the offense which Abiri is alleged to have committed is bailable. She therefore granted him N100m bail with a surety in like some.
In addition to the bail condition, the judge said, the surety must have landed properties in Abuja.
It further said, Mr. Abiri be reminded in custody until all bail conditions are meant.
The judge adjourned to June 28 for the commencement of trial.
