Abuja’s nightlife and lifestyle scene received a major boost on February 14, 2026, with the official grand opening of Aris Club in Lokogoma.

The clubhouse, founded by entrepreneur Glen Aris, promises a sophisticated nightlife experience while serving as a catalyst for economic activity, job creation, and community engagement.

Aris, whose business ventures span both Nigeria and the United States, said the club represents his first foray into nightclub ownership in the country.

“This is more than a club. It is a space where people come together, celebrate life, support local talent, and engage in initiatives that drive economic and social growth,” Aris said during the launch event.

Unlike conventional nightclubs, Aris Club offers more than music and dancing.

The venue plans to host birthday parties, artists, cultural events, and social gatherings, creating opportunities for both entertainment and economic stimulation in the emerging district of Lokogoma.

Manager Victor Ike, who brings years of experience from leading hospitality establishments including Transcorp Hilton, highlighted the club’s role in employment and local economic development. “Aris Club has already provided over 40 jobs across its businesses. Beyond entertainment, we are offering platforms for artists, promoting small businesses, and generating income for locals,” he said.

The opening also marked the launch of a strategic partnership with Gidi Steel Properties Ltd, led by It’s Group Managing Director, Gideon Sule, a real estate company committed to ethical property development and wealth-building initiatives. Gideon emphasized that the collaboration demonstrates the power of lifestyle-driven investment to enhance property value and stimulate the local economy.

“Our goal is to redefine how people view real estate in Abuja,” Gideon explained. “By linking lifestyle infrastructure with property development, we are not only increasing property values but also providing accessible opportunities for Nigerians to build wealth, including young people. Lokogoma is just the starting point.”

The economic and social significance of the club extends beyond jobs. By offering a venue for networking, cultural exchange, and leisure, Aris Club is expected to attract tourism, stimulate local businesses, and promote community engagement. Aris highlighted the inclusive nature of his business approach, noting that his other ventures employ over 40 Nigerians, equipping them with skills and income while fostering entrepreneurship.

The launch event showcased performances from both established and upcoming artists, positioning the club as a hub for talent promotion and cultural engagement. Victor Ike explained that Aris Club will continue to support creative talent, providing opportunities for exposure to Abuja’s growing entertainment audience.

The grand opening, coinciding with Valentine’s Day, symbolized the club’s mission to blend lifestyle and community in a meaningful way.
Aris said the venture also aims to empower youth economically by encouraging investments in property and other income-generating avenues. “Even small investments in land or lifestyle ventures can create significant financial opportunities,” he added, noting that these efforts are aligned with broader youth wealth-building initiatives by Gidi Steel.

With its Valentine’s Day launch, Aris Club sets a new benchmark for lifestyle-oriented spaces in Abuja, demonstrating that entertainment hubs can serve as catalysts for economic growth, real estate development, and youth empowerment.

By integrating nightlife, community, and investment, Aris Club and its partners are reshaping the way urban leisure and economic opportunity coexist in Nigeria’s capital.

As Abuja continues to expand, ventures like Aris Club highlight how lifestyle, property, and entrepreneurship can converge to create vibrant, economically active communities, establishing a model for other emerging districts across the city and beyond.
