Youth Leader Applauds Govt Officials for Constituency Empowerment.
TRACKING> The Former Youth President of Okpoama community in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, Comrade Nadu Perete Okenema, has commended the Minister of state for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva, the Deputy Governor-elect, His Excellency, Bishop, Biobarakuma Degi Eremienyo, and the member representing Nembe/Brass federal constituency, Hon. Isreal Sunny-Goli, for their exemplary leadership style, and living up to the expectations of their constituents.
The youth leader noted that it was worthy of commendation the various developmental projects, countless capacity building and empowerment projects undertaken by their representatives in various areas.
While commending the Minister of state for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva, for bringing to bear his worth of experience in the Petroleum, oil and gas sector, he added that the minister and his team ensured Nigerians enjoyed the festive period without hitch of AGO scarcity.
He also thanked the Deputy Governor-elect, Bishop Biobarakuma Degi Eremienyo, for the recent launch of the agricultural training programme to empower youths and the good people of Bayelsa East Senatorial district.
The training which had no fewer than 150 youths from the three LGA, who benefitted from the 3 days Agricultural value chain for youths.
The beneficiaries were trained by agricultural experts from the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria(ARCN) in different agricultural fields.
The Deputy Governor-elect who was represented by his team of legislative aides from the different LGA, urged the people to take the training seriously, so they can be employers of labour and take advantage of the diversification in the country.
Furthermore, he thanked the member representing Nembe/Brass in the federal House of representative, Hon. Isreal Sunny-Goli, sponsoring the training of stakeholders on the importance of the girl child education held in Nembe LGA, also on the security and safety of school students in Brass LGA organised by the National Institute for Educational Planning & Administration (NIEPA).
He also appreciated him for the installation of all-in-one street light, Solar installations in Beletiema and Liama communities in Brass LGA.
Finally, Okenema also thanked Hon. Ayonatiminyo Agalatubo Omubo, for relieving the financial burdens of students of tertiary institutions and also paying the WAEC fees of about 80 students in Brass constituency 2.
Emphasizing that the spirit of brotherliness displayed by Hon Timi Omubo by making the Yuletide season a remarkable and memorable one with his people was also commendable, he said.
