TRACKING____Given a second chance, Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode would have loved to do certain things differently. One of them is to build a better relationship with party members and Lagos government officials.
He has been fighting some battles since he left office. Even before he left office, there were already signs that some key persons wanted to shame him. He didn’t get a direct ticket for his re-run and he was shamelessly defeated by Babatunde Sanwo-Olu at the governorship primary of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Although his wife, Bolanle, is not under any probe, when a husband is sick, the woman of the house definitely have a sleepless night as well. It was even reported that she made failed attempts to pacify leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. She wanted to save her hubby from share but it didn’t change the party’s decision. It was learnt that Ambode stepped on many toes and they were not ready to forgive him.
