National Union of SALGA Students Pays Courtesy Visit to the Executive Chairman

TRACKING____The union president, National Union of SALGA Students Worldwide, Miss Okpeh Vivian Austine Ejiro, was accompanied by her vice, miss Zikeyi D. Precious, Maduka A. Jasper (President NDU Chapter’s), and others including Burutu David Ikoli, Assistant secretary of the Union and Yenagoa E. Emmanuella the union’s Director of Socials on a solidarity visit to The Executive Chairman of SALGA, Hon. Embeleakpo P Alale.
The students listed difficulties in payment of school fees, lack of logistics for conveyance of SALGA Students to the venue of an upcoming congress slated to hold in Sagbama main town, as some of the challenges faced by the students.
They equally used the medium to intimate the council boss of a planned competition to be hosted by the union on research/short story writing to reflect the image of modern day higher institution Students.
The Council Boss while addressing the delegation promised to do his best and tasked the union’s leadership to compile a list of SALGA Students in tertiary institutions having issues with payment of their fees, for necessary financial assistance.
The Executive Chairman swiftly came to the aid of one of the members of the delegation, Miss Zikeyi D. Precious, who complained over her inability to resume school due to financial issues. Hon. Embeleakpo immediately approved the release of funds for payment of her fees.
The Student-friendly Chairman further promised to assist other indigent students currently pursuing various programmes across the country.
