Governor Douye Diri has officially sworn in Dr. Peter Akpe as the new Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Executive Council (EXCO) Chambers, Government House, Yenagoa, in the presence of top government officials, political stakeholders, and invited guests.
Dr. Akpe took the oath of office and allegiance, pledging to uphold the Constitution and discharge his duties in the best interest of the state.
