Angry mob strip 2 Siblings for stealing phone in Bayelsa State

TRACKINH_____Two siblings, Preye (age 20, ‘f’) and Godstime (age 12 ‘m’), were stripped unclad by angry mob in Azuzuama in Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State for allegedly stealing a mobile phone.TrackNews learnt that the incident occurred on Wednesday, when Preye sent his younger brother, Godstime to go and steal a phone from a Barber shop.According to a source, Gborienemi Mark Charles, the boy was caught and after interrogation, he confessed that he was sent by his sister.“My sister, Preye always send me to go and steal and whenever I refused to go, she will beat me up and I’d have no option than to go”, Godstime confessed.Preye, however attested to the sin, adding that, “My mother travelled for weeks now and no food in the house for us to eat. I always send my younger brother to steal as it’s the only means for us to survive”.The duo were later handed over to security authorities in the community as their lives were being spared.
