Why Governor Ganduje should bring Emir Sanusi back to Kano
TRACKING_____The executive Governor of the ancient City of Kano, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje in my opinion should seek peace with the dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido.
This an open letter to both Governor Ganduje and Emir Sanusi to please come together not for them but for the people of the State.
There is an African proverb that says, ‘when two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffer’. The grass being the people, while the Governor and the former Emir being the two elephants.
On while Ganduje should bring back the dethroned Emir. The Emir is the spiritual head of the State and therefore should be treated with utmost respect. The spiritual controls the physical, hence it should take preeminence over every other thing.
Another reason is that Sanusi at every point in time gives counsels to both spiritual leaders and political leaders. The people of the State and by extension, the people of Nigeria are already missing that.
We love to hear you speak to everyone no matter how highly placed.
We would love the former Emir to return to Kano so that the atmosphere can rejoice again.
