Man Killed His New Born Child Because He Was Expecting A Male Child And Not A Female Child
TRACKING___A 49 year old man Ezekiel Anorue has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command For killing a new born child for being a female child.
The wife raised alarm after the child Stopped breathing immediately the father hits her on the floor.
The wife who spoke in tears disclosed that she had to lie to her husband that she will be given birth to a male child because she was threated so badly after her 3rd and last child.
She revealed “ i had to lie to him so i could have peace of mind
The suspect confessed to the crime “ i really don’t know what came over me, i was so angry then i threw the baby on the floor, what my wife told me was different from the result, she told me the scan she did revealed we would have a baby boy, i had to give her money to do the test at 2 different laboratory but she always come home with a result showing we would have a boy, i already, renovated he house, bought lots of things but after i got home it was a baby girl.
We already had 4 girls and i was so happy when she told me we will have a male child.
Speaking on the strenght of the report, the Imo State Public Relations Officer says the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded
