Senate/ Kennedy Responses To Wilson Claims In The Forthcoming Bayelsa West Senate BY- Election

TRACKING__A grassroot mobilizer and former Senior Special Assistant on Youth Matters Ekeremor LGA, Comr Kennedy Olorogun has responded to the Lawmaker representing Ekeremor Constitution ll, Hon. Wilson A Dauyegha over character diminishing statement made on radio against His. Excellency, Rt Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, Ex-Governor of Bayelsa State senatorial ambition.

The immediate past IYC Chairman Central Zone made a disclaimer by setting the records straight with the following points:

1. Hon. Wilson talked about PDP suffering a huge defeat in Ekeremor LGA in the last Guber Election;

● Olorogun in his response said, APC never and will not win Ekeremor as voting materials were hijacked by him (Wilson) and some armed hoodlums in the last Guber election.

2. The minority leader also claimed former Gov. Dickson never commissioned any project in Ekelga, that the most talked about Sagbama/Ekeremor road is also a death-trap stressing, they still travelled to Ekeremor LGA communities via Tuomo axis in Delta state;

● Olorogun responded to that by asking, what of the Bayelsa State polytechnic Alaibiri which he (Wilson) claimed to be underfunded compare to the University of Africa, Toru-Orua (UAT)?

● Olorogun also states, UAT has long been in existence before the Alaibiri Polytechnic, and will gradually grow just like every other big and popular higher institutions in the world.

● Also the road he (Wilson) described as death-trap is a huge project which first stone-base has been completed and drove during dry season. Olorogun further added that, Govt is a continual process and the present administration will continue the project from where Ex-Governor Dickson stopped to its completion.

Wilson also insulted Ekelgans that endorsed the zoning formula and former Gov. Dickson as MISGUIDED people who resides only in Yenagoa, and that he (Wilson) will mobilize all wards and communities in Ekeremor LGA to make that endorsement futile.

● Olorogun responded by describing that unfiltered statement from an honourable lawmaker representing a whole constituency
as an insult to the sensitivity of Ekeremor people, which needs swift apology.

Noting Ekelgans has affirmed the Senate and House of Reps zoning formula, and will surprise Wilson by voting massively for PDP in the Senate byelection for PDP by resisting what him (Wilson) and some hoodlums did in the last Guber Election by hijacking voting materials with arms.
