Works Commissioner Congratulates Former Gov. Dickson, Cleopas Over Their Victories In Bayelsa West And Central Senatorial Districts Bye_ Elections

The Honourable Commissioner for works and infrastructure Bayelsa state Hon. Moses Teibowe, congratulates the immediate past Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Henry Seriake Dickson and former Chairman of the Bayelsa State Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Moses Cleopas on their respective well-deserved victories in the Bayelsa West and Central Senatorial Districts’ Bye-elections.
Hon. Teibowei who also congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party Family, the Bayelsa West and Central Senatorial Districts’ Voters for making the right choices with the election of Senators-elect Dickson and Cleopas, hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission and Security Agencies for their professional conduct, condoling with the Nigerian Police over the boat mishap which claimed the lives of some of its Men.
Hon. Teibowei who particularly expressed satisfaction over the election of Former Governor Dickson as Senator-elect, having been a former Member of the House of Representatives, remarked that the Bayelsa PDP National Assembly Caucus is happy to welcome the Ofuruma Pepe into its fold especially now that the issues of restructuring and allied matters which affects Bayelsa State and the Ijaw Nation are taking the front burner of national discourse with another round of constitutional amendment in the offing.
Hon. Teibowei who called on other Contestants in the bye-elections to display sportsmanship and work with the Winners and the Prosperity Government of Sen. Douye Diri for the overall development of Bayelsa State, advised against their resorting to Elections’ Tribunals which will rather be energy and resources’ consuming as well as distracting, adding that the elections of the duo of Senators-elect Dickson and Cleopas represents the Will of the Electorates.
