Just In: EFCC Grills Former Bayelsa Governor, Seriake Dickson

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, grilled former Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson for several hours.
The anti-graft agency is investigating allegations bordering on abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds during his eight-year rule of Bayelsa State between 2012 and 2020, TrackNews Online understands.
The former Governor, who is the current senator representing Bayelsa West in the National Assembly arrived at the headquarters of the EFCC in Jabi, Abuja at about 11am.
As at the time of filing this report, he is still being grilled by the EFCC team.
It is understood that Dickson went to the EFCC office based on an invitation extended to him by the agency.
The EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the invitation of the former governor.
