RTEAN inaugurates national secretariat 43 years after formation (See Photos)
On Thursday, 20th of January, 2022 will go down in history books, as it witnessed the grand opening of the National Office of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) alias RTEAN HOUSE which had distinguished, the Speaker House of Representatives; Femi Gbajabiamila, the Ooni of Ife, Honourable Israel Sunny-Goli; lawmaker representing Brass Constituency 1 and other respected guest graced the occasion in grand style.
Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) have faced challenges in time passed and even in the leadership tussle and as the saying goes “there is light at the end of the tunnel” perfectly describes the reason for the gathering. Alhaji (Dr) Musa Mohammed Maitakobi 1 has clarity in leadership and cannot blow a different trumpet as RTEAN have grown over time, to be the second (2nd) employer of labour after the Federal Government. Men make history and in periods where there is no leadership, society stands still and progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.
Permit me to borrow wise words from the Holy Bible that says “it is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s bear that went down to the skirts of his garment”. The State Chairman, Bayelsa State Council; Chief (Dr) Oyinkuro Ifie Ereboh has also inline displayed progress and push to better the transport sector and Bayelsa State. Father and Son congratulations on these milestones of achievements. Continue to speak for and fly high the emblem of the Bayelsa State Council and Nigeria.
You will agree with me that leadership is the ability to establish standards and manage a creative climate where people are self-motivated toward the mastery of long term constructive goals, in a participatory environment of mutual respect, compatible with personal values.
